Personal Training

Over the 20+ years I've been in the health and fitness industry, I have worked with many different types of clientele. The first thing I offer is a consultation. This gives us both the opportunity to discuss your goals and the chance for me to take a body composition reading this is where I measure stuff such as Muscle Mass, Body Fat %, Bone Density etc. This then gives me the tools to create your personalised plan and will help us monitor your progress over time. During the sessions I will focus heavily on form and technique to make sure that you don’t injure yourself while training. I can work with individuals or with small groups, so you can even exercise with a friend or family member

Otago
(Falls Prevention)

Falls are common in people aged 65 and over and are the leading cause of injury in this age group. Falls can have serious consequences, including trauma, pain, impaired function, loss of confidence in carrying out everyday activities, loss of independence or even death

Some may be reluctant to seek help from their GP or other services about preventing falls because they believe their concerns will not be taken seriously. D.H Fitness & Therapy takes falls very seriously! And after working within two retirement villages for over 8 years I know how serious falls can be and my aim is to help you reduce that risk by offering you 1-2-1 support
